This was the first song that came on when we started our Playlist at the hospital as I was laboring. We were blessed to see Everleigh’s heartbeat one last time on ultrasound. I felt her moving throughout most of my labor, but ultimately she went to Jesus right before delivery. We sang this song at her funeral one week later, and chose to have these words on her grave marker: Held Fast By Our Savior. Through our pain, we take comfort in knowing that our God holds us, and Everleigh, fast in His hands!
